That's how the fd auhenticates itself or some other process... to make sure, you'll have to compare with output from an other daemon... I don't know if the "client" or the "server" or, probably better terminology target or initiator, produce these messages...

I'm not absolutely sure here, too, but this looks like the client connects to something... now, you might want to check the sd. Or, of course, verify your settings (like host names, addresses, ports) to see how the FD contacts the SD.

Ah sorted you where right it was configuration problem in director config. I just gave the SD an ip for its address. I got the clue from your reply
