do you have more information on that? Like, for example, what the ADS has to be named and what it contains?
I think this is indeed something serious... ok, sometimes MS will tell us that with Windows you don't need an administrator, but I guess most here have other experiences :-)
Well, I wonder how you are supposed to backup such data.

More importantly, it appears that WinXP service pack 2 is starting to implement them in user home directory areas - to the point that if a user flags his/her area as private not even the administrator can read them.
The implications of this in terms of impact on backups should not be underestimated.
