personal c/r based anti spam filters such as TMDA: sure, they are evil, asocial and among the worst things on the planet. but I never heard anyone complaining about C/R for mailing list subscription. on the contrary everyone seems to agree that it is a good thing. So why shouldn't that work well for outside postings, too?
