One user recently sent in a bug report on precisely this problem. The report, 
was not against the code, but against the documentation, which is admittedly 
a bit weak in this area.  As a result, I added his comments and his example 
to the manual.  If I remember right it was under Client Run Job Before, but I 
am not sure.  I'm not completely sure if his Client was a Windows machine or 
not, or even if Windows has FIFOs, which may be a problem.  If you are 
cleaver, you can probably find the bug report and his email address in the 
bugs database ... :-)
