So why does Bacula have an "Always Open" resource?  I personally think
that Bacula shouldn't care if the tape is write protected or not,
unless it needs to actually _write_ data to the tape (or storage device).

Hmm... shouldn't that resource really be called 'Open Writeable
Always' instead then?  The 'Always Open' name doesn't make any sense
to me then...
