Hi,
I have tried to test an IDE-tape (Seagate Seagate STT3401A rev 309I) with btape.
For finding a config I tried "tapeinfo -f /dev/ht0" and got "mtx: failed to set sg timeout - Input/output error" as result.
The system is running on Kernel 2.6.8-24.14 and the module "ide-tape" ist loaded.
Has anybody succesfully used an IDE-Tape on a system with 2.6.x-Kernel?
