Hi,
I just installed the bacula 1.36.2 on one of our servers, which is connecting to a director and storage deamon both running 1.34.6.
When trying to run a backup I'm getting the following message about bacula not being able to get the ACLs of (it seems) every file on the disc:
There are / were difficulties there... I don't know the deatils, but you might search the mailinglist archives (both users and devel) and the bugs database at bugs.bacula.org
And on a maybe related note: I tried looking for some information about compatibility between different client versions but couldn't find anything on the website.
Are there problems running different releases on the director, client and storaged?
Your setup should work... but concerning the ACLs I'm not sure.
Did you read the release notes? Kern usually says when versions become incompatible, and to my knowledge 1.34 and 1.36 can work together. Actually, they do it here - but without any sophisticated features.
