UGH!

I apologize for this.  I posted this several times because my news
client (reading this as a newsgroup) was telling me that it failed every
time.  I truly am sorry for posting this thing so many times (I think
around 4 or 5 all told).

Don't worry, I shall go off and flog myself, then I shall hunt anyone
else remotely responsible :-)
