This is an interesting question, and the answer is no, you cannot use a 
bootstrap file generated against one tape to restore a different tape because 
there is no guarantee that the layout of the files on the two tapes is the 
same.

bcopy has not been used much, so if you intend to restore from bcopy'ed tapes, 
I'd recommend that you try it now rather than later. Feedback would be 
appreciated.
