Howdy,
I'd like to say "Thank You" to the entire Bacula team!
Yesterday we had a restore request come in at 4:30. Thanks to bacula,
everything was restored by 5:20-ish (this includes me opening and updating
a trouble ticket, talking to the user, and walking though the restore with
another admin to he could see what bacula was like). Additionally, the
user had us restore the wrong stuff, so another restore later the same
same day (minus an incremental) was just as easy, if not easier because I
already had the jobid's.
Previously with our tar backups this would take on the order of 12 hours
and would be a generally painful experience.
