Hi,
I have made a backup of a file to tape. Removed that file and marked the volume as 'Recycle'. I ran the job the again. Bacula reports old data lost.
When i query the database afterwards for the file i removed, it reports it as beeing on the tape i just overwrote.
Is this expected behaviour, or a bug?
It would be nice if when i recyle a volume, and it is overwritten by the next job, the records of the files that were on that tape are deleted.
Is there something i may have overlooked?
