I think that you found the origin of the problem yourself, this is a 
fedora patch on Bacula or on MySQL.

I'm using Archlinux, and they are very close from the upstream, they 
release the software without huge patches.

If would be great to have a patch for that, looking in configure if 
my_thread_end() and mysql_thread_end() are defined.
