Well, there are a number of GUI projects, so first let's be sure we are talking about the same program. Do you mean the bacula-web that is part of the gui subdirectory of the Bacula repository? Or is this another bacula-web? For your information bacula-web has not been maintained for quite some time -- we even have a submission based on it that has not been integrated because no one is maintaining it. The advantage of bacula-web is that it is relatively simple to install. One of the major disadvantages is that it is a static view of Bacula. On the other hand we have bweb, which is under active development by Eric. It is more difficult to install, but give a fully dynamic view of Bacula with a lot more functionality than bacula-web, and it is well maintained. > > What are the steps and how do I proceed ? Please see the Developer's Guide (on the web site) for information about doing development and about using git. If you are already a git expert, great. That simplifies everything.
