Kern,

I now think the bug is far more repeatable than I had expected as it happened 
twice fairly quickly when I had a schedule of backups start, so I tried a 3rd 
time with
setdebug level=200 storage=Dell-PV136T trace=1
and I now see that it stalled but with a 92kb trace file, so I've opened a bug 
report (#1213) so you can view that file.
