Yeah, plus "2D" users can't use CCSM. So they are stuck with "spread mmode"
every time they click the icon of an App that as multiple windows open with no
way to close selective windows without bringing each window to the front and
then closing it (going back and forth between spread mode to accomplish
this--it takes forever and is a major time-consuming activity).

You can do this by activating Scale addons in CCSM
