A good example is tomboy-indicator, it shows a recent list in its
indicator menu..

Are you planning to fix the icon ? its not yet monochrome as i can see...
Yes, I'm planning to do that, but in the meanwhile you can put a
monochrome icon in ~/.pastie/ (as pastie.svg).
