Problem: All your sound are belong to the sound icon. Redesign is inevitable, we are arguing for the best outcome to solve this (very general) problem.
Vote: continue this in irc. probably won't happen tho :p Individual Problems Associated with Sound Menu Redesign: How will music applications display information in this new space? Should a sound menu mixer be added - assuming other app tray icons are now gone? Will the menu display itself differently to handle the inevitable increase in options associated with this menu? Sound each sound application be given a space in this new menu or should they all give info to the menu letting it decide the outcome?
