I forgot to mention: The Ubiquity screen should have three options:
1) Do automatic installation of security updates 2) Show notification of available security updates 3) Wait for the user to request updates Option one should be the default. Note that at this moment, the user can easily select (2) or (3). So, even though (1) is the default, it is not like the system is forcing anyone to use it.
