_JAVA_AWT_WM_NONREPARENTING=1')" to the awesome rc.lua, and even then menus
don't work.run_once is a function suggested on the awesome wiki to work like awful.util.spawn_with_shell(), except it doesn't run programs already running if you restart awesome.
