Hi, I'm a Arch Linux user using the latest awesome-git AUR package (i.e. a compile from the awesome git master).
What I did notice with some update a week ago is that my mouse cursor in awesome tends to reset to X's default cursor when I launch applications (either via awesome menu or the run prompt). I know of the good old "xsetroot -cursor_name left_ptr"-fix and I have an according directive in my .xinitrc. This does work as always but as soon as I launch an application the cursor gets reset again. I guess it has something to do with the cursor changing from the normal pointer to the "busy" pointer. I hope someone knows why the mouse cursor behavior changed and what can be done to reach the old behaviour again. Greetings, - a.e -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].
