What is wrong with konsole? Anyway, I use xterm as my default terminal emulator. xterm with default config is ugly indeed, but it is very customizable. I I have such entries in my .Xdefaults: XTerm*background: Snow XTerm*foreground: Black XTerm*font: *-fixed-*-*-*-20-*-iso10646-1 XTerm*boldFont: *-fixed-*-*-*-20-*-iso-10646-1 XTerm*allowTcapOps: false XTerm*altIsNotMeta: true XTerm*altSendsEscape: true ekg2*font: -misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--13-120-75-75-c-70-iso10646-1 ekg2*background: SaddleBrown ekg2*foreground: lightgray ! it prevents ekg2 from changing xterm title: ekg2*allowTitleOps: false mutt*font: *-fixed-*-*-*-20-*-iso10646-1 mutt*background: black mutt*foreground: white mutt*allowTitleOps: false So I have multiple xterm profiles for different applications. I start these applications with something like: xterm -name ekg2 -e ekg2 xterm -name mutt -e mutt > PS Any clues how to make the clock only display the time, *note* the date? I use obvious.clock() and it shows time only. It shows date when I move mouse pointer over its wibox. -- Regards, Paweł Zuzelski -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].
