I am using Debian Sid/Experimental and if I change my resolution with xrandr, or if a Wine game changes the res, all current clients become invisible.
They are still running (they show up with ps), but they can't be seen on screen or in the awesome tasklist and I don't seem to be able to interact with them in the gui (they don't hang, as they still respond to signals, etc.) Not an immediate problem as I don't change resolution often, but any advice/avenues of investigation would be appreciated.
