nope it looks like you need to install the awesome dependencies. i did a google search for the missing packages and installed them from source. there was one that i consistently had trouble with.. i forget which it was, but i was able to get it installed on all 3 computers i have w/ slackware 13 and awesome. i seem to remember that changing some configuration options solved it.. sorry that's so vague. using slackware packages might avoid that trouble, if they are available.
