That's good to know, Bob, and confirms that Royce has a less intrusive

In 30 years, I never let IT near our development machines. We had a
firewall between us and the unwashed, ran solaris (later linux), and
there were no spaces in filenames. Et voila - no problems of this
nature, ever.

I think that Royce has chosen the cleanest and most robust fix.
