Thanks for the answers to the questions. :) >> 3) I couldn't get the 4.0a1 release of Phoenix to build correctly. >what was wrong with it ? I downloaded Phoenix-src-4.0a1 but couldn't get it to build on the first try. I've checked the build.xml. I think the problem was that the build.xml specified date-stamped versions of avalon, excalibur and logkit jar files. But the jar files included in the lib directory do not have date-stamp in their file names, which was why it didn't get picked up in the classpath. Also, I need to copy jmxri.jar and jmxtools.jar to the lib directory for the compile to work. After making these 2 changes, the build was successful. >> Currently doing it from the cvs version. Next time maybe.. :) One last question just to confirm I understand Avalon/Phoenix right: When deploying multiple SAR on Phoenix, even if they use the same Block in their assembly, each of them gets their own copy of the block. Is this correct? Thanks and cheers, Edison -- Edison Too, [EMAIL PROTECTED] on 11/04/2001 _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
