An impressive project, but I think you should tell [email protected], not
[email protected]. Although there are Autoconf macros and a little other
m4 stuff in Automake, it's minor compared to Autoconf.

All I can say is that autoconf surely probes the limits of m4 behavior
in every regard. So any incompatibility whatsoever is likely to be a
