Not really. The problem with that, is that it's designed to support gas-style assembly (i.e. using the GCC frontend to compile the assembly). NASM at least does not conform to this that much, and it does not support the -c option. Basically what Luca is looking for is adding specific rules for using nasm-style command lines for building (yasm would follow from that).
