Works when you have a Makefile in eq_ss, but I don't :) I am moving away from a Makefile.am in every directory as we got too many of them(some 345) and I like the what "Recursive Make Considered Harmful", http://miller.emu.id.au/pmiller/books/rmch says. Jocke
