Per-Makefile: AM_LIBTOOLFLAGS = --preserve-dup-deps or per-target with *_LIBTOOLFLAGS. (And yes, it is very inconsistent that this flag must be passed before the --mode, and not after the compiler, where *LDFLAGS go.
