Hi, everyone, My efforts to update this build environment continue. Running automake (1.7) on my existing configure.in reports the following error:
<quote> /tmp/t4qaYxc3/traces.m4:873: /usr/bin/m4: Error matching regular expression `^ *\(.*\) *$' Use of uninitialized value at .../bin/automake line 5044, <GEN0> chunk 249. automake: no `Makefile.am' found or specified </quote> A quick search of the net leads me to believe that this may be a 1.7 bug related to a large number of files in AC_OUTPUT for which there is no workaround (besides a version upgrade). Would someone *please* tell me how and why I'm wrong? :) Scott
