Hello, I want to build a python module, which should be created as _foo.so However, automake/autoconf (as well as libtool) only let me create sharedobjects with a lib prefix: libfoo.so
See: > Makefile.am:77: bad macro name `_pyper_la_SOURCES' > Makefile.am:80: bad macro name `_pyperbonus_la_SOURCES' > Makefile.am:123: bad macro name `_pyper_la_LDFLAGS' > Makefile.am:124: bad macro name `_pyper_la_LDFLAGS' > automake: Makefile.am: `_pyper.la' is not a standard libtool library name > automake: Makefile.am: `_pyperbonus.la' is not a standard libtool library name I use: automake (GNU automake) 1.4-p6 autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.57 ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.4.3 (1.922.2.111 2002/10/23 02:54:36) How can I circumvent this?
