Bob> Umm.. why are you using it then? To be fair, sometimes one is forced to use tools one might prefer not to. For instance, suppose you need to do some work on gcc. Well, some directories in gcc use automake. If you hate automake, what can you do? Historically the answer is: lobby for its removal :-), typically by criticizing it. One would hope another plausible approach would be to try to improve it... Tom
