If nobody knows about a system which doesn't support `-a' or
`-o' alone, I'd suggest to keep using them in the Autoconf test
suite.  This way we'll see failures on these systems, and can
then update the Autoconf manual with facts.

Note I'm not arguing against the removal of `-a' and `-o' in
user scripts such as install-sh or configure (better play it
safe); I'm just suggesting to keep a spy somewhere, and the
Autoconf test suite seems a nice place for this.
