I understand for purpose of $(datadir)/aclocal and $(datadir)/aclocal-1.6. And check $ aclocal and $ aclocal -I /usr/share/aclocal-1.6 There is no difference in aclocal.m4. And I found document telling "--print-ac-dir is for third-party '.m4' files". Thanks. > Just try, and see by yourself that it works fine.
