Maybe it is a bug in the book. It's hard to remember 1.4 :-(

Mostly the delay is due to lack of confidence in the prereleases.
Try 1.4b. It seems to work pretty well. I hope to release 1.4d
fairly soon. I do want to get 1.5 out.
