And Zack replied: ! Autoconf proper cannot accept a patch to enable use of "-Xpreprocessor ! -fopenmp" until it is supported in a *released* version of GNU libtool. My point is: If one uses "-Wp,-fopenmp" instead of "-Xpreprocessor -fopenmp", there is no need to wait for a new libtool release. Bruno
