Yeah. I once ventured on a patch trying to let config.status output its arguments, but did not succeed back then, as I couldn't get the quoting quite right: <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.sysutils.autoconf.general/5719> I suppose that I might look at it again eventually, if not beaten to.
