greetings Autoconf hackers, i saw in 2.61 TODO something that i could (try to) do, so please find below a small patch to check GNU-install conformance of the install program found by AC_PROG_INSTALL.
no idea if this jives w/ Autoconf coding standards (didn't find a HACKING file anywhwere); your feedback is very welcome. thi
