I'm trying to build the GNU Sharutils using an external GETTEXT library, but the current (very old) archive doesn't seem to have an option for specifying this. Since the the Sharutils seem to be abandoned, or at least I can't find a maintainer, I wonder if anyone here could suggest any changes which would need to be made to configure.in or anything else to provide such an option... -- John
