Config.logs generated by an autoconf-2.95e (CVS) generated configure
contain this message:

I don't know what configure 2.49e is supposed to be -- at least, I
have never heared of it :)
Probably "created by configure generated by autoconf 2.49e" or even
simply using "configure" would be more correct and less confusing.
