Well, please first complain to the maintainers of OpenLDAP, explain
precisely what happens, and include all the information I asked you
(for instance you still don't show the line you typed).  If you don't
give them more information than you gave us, they won't be able to
help you either.  They will know is Autoconf is guilty or not.
