 This one sounds exactly what I am looking for, but I am using autoconf
1.4.1 package (shipped with r.h. 6.0) and this macro isn't defined there,
starting with what release this macro has been deployed?
 Also where the current autoconf package is being distributed nowdays?
 I just checked out sourceware.cygnus.com and ftp.gnu.org which used to
distribute autoconf in past and they both have the tarballs of Jan. 16,
1999 as most recent ones. if there was any development of autoconf package
since that time, it's definitely not the latest snapshot :)
