Huh? Sorry, I don't understand.
Are your referring to the fact that m4 builtins are recognized only
with the proper number of argument, hence `eval' as used in sh will
never be groked by m4?
If so, personally, I don't trust this behavior too much, since I can't
simulate it with `define' (yes, I can, but it's painful). So just for
sake of simplicity, I think m4_eval is a perfectly good approach.
