Time to move on to another chapter. May I recommend anything from
Chapter 9 on, that someone else doesn't have checked out? The later
chapters often never get properly reviewed for content, because people
(including me!) usually start at the beginning and never get all the
way to the end... or are too rushed at that point to do a proper job.

I agree. For example Chapter 10 would benefit from a mention of the
"sticky" template option i.e. the possibility that OOo offers to
update the document if the underlying template has been modified. The
Keyboard shortcuts annex (for some reason called Chapter 19 rather
than chapter 17) would need to be updated as there have been some
changes in the shortcuts.
Until chapter 11, besides changing the template I tried to review also
the text and the screenshots but for the last 5 chapters I just
blindly applied the changes of styles and re-formatted the numbered
lists.

No problem. I can get started on some of those later chapters.

It's good we're going thorough through Chs 1 & 2, of course, since
there were lots of little changes in the program that affected those,
and you caught several things that I missed. However, neither you nor
Michele noticed some BIG changes on two of the Options pages (Security
and Load/Save), which I picked up in my later review. I mention this
because the later chapters have not, AFAIK, been reviewed by anyone
(although Michele put them into one of the earlier versions of the
template), so they need careful checking against the program... much
more than concern about consistency, character styles, etc (though
fixing those is good too, of course).

I wrote something about the difference between ODF 1.2 and ODF 1.0/1.1
in the section on numbered lists either in chapter 3, 6 or 7 and
missed completely the change in the options in chapter 2... sorry!

Cheers to the usefulness of multiple peer reviews and edits. ;)

Thanks,
Sak.
