We've got a preliminary outline (or at least a list of topics
proposed for inclusion) for that chapter here:

You could start by reviewing that outline (topic list) and
improving on it or expanding it -- or just start writing, if you
prefer. Feel free to ask lots of questions!
If you haven't already done so, do read the style guide, writers'
guide, and some of the other documents in this section of the
site: http://oooauthors.org/en/authors/userguide2/resources/ and
get a copy of the chapter template (first item on that page).
If you would prefer to review a Calc Guide chapter before writing
a new one, Ch6 (DataPilot) and Ch13 (Calc as a Simple Database)
are both on the review list, visible on the first page after you
log in.
