rncoll7 [1] filed a deletion request for intel-ivsc-driver-dkms-git [2]: Upstream (github.com/intel/ivsc-driver) was archived by Intel in November 2024, and its README states the driver has been upstreamed. Everything it builds is in mainline: the IVSC media drivers (drivers/media/pci/intel/ivsc) since 6.6, usb-ljca with its gpio/i2c/spi children since 6.7, and mei-vsc since 6.8.
The final upstream commit (006b0f5) no longer compiles against current kernels. Tested with 7.2.4, it fails on removed SPI APIs (spi_master, spi_alloc_master) and on changed gpio_chip/platform_driver callback signatures. The package hasn't been modified since 2022-08, has been flagged out- of-date since 2024-02-05, and no AUR package depends on it.
