Hi Bert,
As is tradition I went through some (but not all, there's. so. many.)
Welp. I guess you can take Auerhuhn out of the packaging but you can’t take the packaging out of Auerhuhn?
As the AUR maintainer role hasn't quite materialised yet, AUR moderation still falls under the Package Maintainers. Do you intend to participate in this, or would you rather focus on the main repos?
I’ve tried policing the recent additions feed for a while, just to figure out if it’s for me. It’s not :) so I’d rather focus on the repos and tools.
I’ll be happy to mediate though if need be, e.g. when an AUR user reaches out on the mailing list.
Nevertheless, more maintenance is definitely appreciated. What ecosystems would you be interested in working on?
I used to be more of a Ruby person but nowadays, Python has become my comfort zone, especially since build tools and typing have settled!
In addition to what you wrote, I would like to mention that you were very helpful this very week in chasing down a potentially dangerous AUR package, ultimately proving that it wasn't dangerous, luckily.
Thanks for the shoutout Bert! Regards Claudia
