Dear AUCTeX aficionados, Included is a patch to add \shortintertext to `texmathp-tex-commands-default'. I'm not sure if such a thing is acceptable given that it can be added by the user to `texmathp-tex-commands'. But I thought since mathtools seems to be fairly popular that it might be useful.
