I just want to highlight some "in flight" work on reducing the on-disk footprint of Atomic Host (and also Fedora userspace in general to some degree).
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/openssl/pull-request/1 ^ in rawhide, may try to nag maintainer to backport to f27 This one isn't *large* per se but IMO it's very symbolic (hopefully no one is depending on `make` being on the host by default) https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/glibc/pull-request/3 ^ ditto; and related to that one is: https://pagure.io/fedora-atomic/pull-request/101 The biggest item here though is: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1526191 And there you can see links to two pull requests for SELinux policy that are pending review. Related to that is: https://pagure.io/fedora-atomic/pull-request/102 Big picture most of this is sitting in rawhide or in pending pull requests, but we *are* working on size issues.
