It seems like a great idea but no one ever does it.
Some guys here use it, and some made a custom libpri+libss7 converter code to put in a NFAS signalling, so some has done it. But I heard about only one implementation just for one architecture and one particular case/need (convert ss7 to PRI and vice-versa).
